Erm... Lets see. If you're starting the hobby, I'd suggest not throwing yourself in the deep end and attempt to make an exceptionally hard cosplay - something with Armour or a very detailed character would be tricky to try and make. Taken from experience, I just got frustrated in my earlier years of cosplay because I couldn't make the outfit "perfect". Try something simple until you get the hang of it and slowly start becoming a little more experimental/brave with the outfits and ease yourself into it. There are also pretty cheap cosplays you can buy from eBay or possibly some sellers here on dA, if you don't want to make your own. It is a very fun hobby and you gain lots of confidence and friends from doing it. It's a great thing to get into. Hope that helped. C:
especially nice work on the tattoo's you did those youreself? Merill is cute and funny but so naieve up to the point where she trusts demons. I always end up rivaling her XD. Even when i choose the nice guy answers .
Wow! You look like her! With the right makeup artist to put on the right prosthetic (i.e. to give you the typical elven nose), I could see you as Merrill in a DA2 movie. (Many people dress like their favourite characters and fail utterly simply because they don't have the right features or body type.)
My Merrill build was bad ass...saved my ass in the High Dragon fight(the one that drops a piece the armor from the destiny trailer.) but to comment on this image(ran across it on the googlez) You make a damn good Merrill.
