I'd love to cosplay Isabella but she's a bit...
If you're starting the hobby, I'd suggest not throwing yourself in the deep end and attempt to make an exceptionally hard cosplay - something with Armour or a very detailed character would be tricky to try and make. Taken from experience, I just got frustrated in my earlier years of cosplay because I couldn't make the outfit "perfect". Try something simple until you get the hang of it and slowly start becoming a little more experimental/brave with the outfits and ease yourself into it.
There are also pretty cheap cosplays you can buy from eBay or possibly some sellers here on dA, if you don't want to make your own.
It is a very fun hobby and you gain lots of confidence and friends from doing it. It's a great thing to get into.
